Name: Volt
Age: 10 moons
Gender: Female
Clan: Loner
Position: None, Loner
Personality: Unlike most cats with a past like her own and a disability, she has a strong will. She believes she can do anything if she puts her mind on it and nothing will stand in the way of what she wants. Though her past is often reflecting on her conscience, she has no doubts that her future will turn up brighter than her history that had been set behind her. She often acts without thinking and that gets her in many different situations. But when she does think, her thoughts most likely come back from the past. Though she is blind, Volt often doesn’t let that get in the way. Other times you can tell that she wishes she could see. Creative and cleaver, she gets around the problem of her disability without complaint. She is loyal and caring toward her friends but is cautious about strangers.
Cat Description: Volt is a pretty golden she cat with one large stripe of black fur coursing along her pelt like lightning. The stripe starts on her right shoulder then comes around to her left hip. The tip of her tail is basically a large tuft of black fur. Agile and slim, Volt is quick on her feet. Her eyes are the color of a faded gold coin due to being blind, yet they still sparkle like a shiny new surface in moonlight. Her nose a black and a tuft of fur on her chest is a touch of white.
History: Volt was born, not to kittypets or clan cats, but rogues. Her mother was treacherous and scheming while her father loved the taste of blood on his tongue. She herself was different. Her brother however took on the evil traits of her mother and father through rough experience and example. Volt knew that she could feel the family blood run through her as well. Once in her life she did want to feel the warm prey scream and squeal in terror under her ravenous paws while her jaw gripped into it’s neck, leaving warm blood along her fur. But that was long ago. Now she has doubts about everything.
Volt was blind by birth and though her mother thought she was a weakling for that, her father told her she could rule the forest someday. He trained her long and hard but Volt doubts she will ever use his trickery on innocent cats. It was hard living in a family where you had to fight for every scrap of meat and water just to survive. The pressure soon became to much when her mother and father told her to go into a clan and find them all a way in so they could take down the unsuspecting clan inside out. Volt wasn't sure to listen, but as her family threatened to kill her if she didn’t follow their orders, she ran away. Far away until all sight of her family and all familiar territory was out of sight.
Role-Playing Example: A sudden wind gusted through the dim looking forest as the sunlight from above the tall, long-limbed trees made small circles of light upon the forest floor. A golden pelt sped through the trees. Dodging each one to the slightest half-inch from her body. Volt never really could tell how far away she was from a tree or an object. Just that it was there by the scent or the feeling around it. Her faded golden eyes stared blankly in front of her as if looking off toward the mountains. But through those eyes, Volt could see nothing but darkness. A black shadow covered over the world is what she could see. Volt slowed her pace as she lengthened her stride. Her jaw dropped and all the scents of the forest immediately rushed to the roof of her mouth. Squirrel. she thought to herself as she dropped into a hunting crouch. Its near... Volt licked her lips as if she could already taste her meal in her hungry jaws. Carefully, she placed one paw in front of the other. She was careful to keep track of where the scent was coming from. If she lost it, she can make many mistakes. She man jump a little to the right or left and her meal could escape. Or she wouldn’t jump far enough to land on her prey or leap over the squirrel. Many costly mistakes. And Volt was hungry. The scent was strong and was getting stronger with each step. Closer now...closer... every so slowly she brushed under the bushes without sound then inched closer and closer until, to any other cat, the squirrel was in full view and range. Almost...One more step... With a simple kick of her hind paws she leaped forward as graceful as a leaping fish, but her landing was a s deadly as a large grizzly bear. Perfect!! she had successfully landed squarely onto the prey. With a quick bite from her jaws the animal laid completely still as Volt immediately devoured it.
Other Notes: Volt is blind and I hope I did everything right. :3
